1. Papago Park (Phoenix & Tempe)
If you're looking for that iconic Arizona desert feel without a long hike, Papago Park is hard to beat. The sandstone rocks, occasional ponds and wide-open trails create a timeless backdrop that's beautiful in every season. I have two specific spots my team and I prioritize 1) Near Hole in the Rock, and 2) A special lesser know spot that is especially photogenic 🤫

3. Scorpion Gulch at South Mountain Park (Phoenix)
This location is especially great for young kids because:
- Easy access with minimal walking from the parking area
- Wide desert paths that are perfect for little explorers

- Iconic Sonoran Desert scenery with saguaros and mountain views
- Beautiful golden-hour light throughout the year
4. Usery Mountain Regional Park (Mesa)
This location is especially great for young kids because:

- Fewer crowds than many Valley parks
